For families
Distribution and arrival FAQ
How does distribution work?
Distribution is first come, first served, with one turkey per family while supplies last. Walk-up and drive-through service are planned. There is no guaranteed public end time and no reservation guarantees.
When should I arrive?
Distribution begins at 4:00 PM. Lines may begin two to three hours earlier. Arriving early does not guarantee availability. Do not block streets, private driveways, school access, or emergency routes, and follow posted traffic instructions.
Do I need to register, show identification, or meet an eligibility rule?
The event is intended for local families. Bridge Niagara has not published a separate advance-registration, identification, income, residency, or other eligibility rule. If a final check-in requirement is approved, it will be posted on this official page before the event. Do not rely on an unofficial flyer or social post for requirements.
May I pick up for another family?
Bridge Niagara has not published a general proxy-pickup policy. If disability, transportation, or another serious barrier may require someone else to pick up, contact Bridge Niagara before the event. An arrangement is not confirmed unless Bridge Niagara approves it directly.
What happens if weather or operations change?
Bridge Niagara will post an approved delay, location change, or cancellation on the official Turkey Giveaway page. Check the page before traveling. A change announced by another account or person should not be treated as official unless Bridge Niagara confirms it.

Access needs
Ask early when possible
For an accommodation related to mobility, standing in line, vision, hearing, communication, language, or volunteering, contact Bridge Niagara at info@bridgeniagara.org or 716-514-3947. Contact by Friday, November 13, 2026, when possible. Later requests will still be considered, but an exact parking space, separate service line, delivery, interpreter, or proxy arrangement is not promised unless directly confirmed.
Online payments
Donation, sponsorship, and refund terms
How may campaign gifts be used?
Turkey Giveaway gifts first support food, supplies, distribution operations, volunteer coordination, traffic and safety needs, and related family outreach. If a particular need is fully funded or cannot be completed as planned, Bridge Niagara may use remaining funds for closely related food assistance or community-support work consistent with its charitable mission.
How are online payments and receipts handled?
Online card payments are processed through Stripe. Bridge Niagara receives transaction and contact information needed to review payments, fulfill acknowledgment requests, handle refunds, and complete financial reconciliation, but does not receive or store the complete card number.
Stripe provides the payment receipt for a successful online transaction. Bridge Niagara may also send a separate written acknowledgment when an approved automated workflow is active.
Whether or not an automatic message is available, a contributor may request a written acknowledgment from Bridge Niagara by emailing info@bridgeniagara.org. Include the contributor name, contribution date and amount, and Stripe transaction or receipt number. Never send a complete card number.
When Bridge Niagara provides a written acknowledgment, it will identify Bridge Niagara Foundation and EIN 92-2185964, state the contribution amount, and state whether Bridge Niagara provided goods or services in return. If goods or services were provided, the acknowledgment will describe them and include a good-faith estimate of their value when required. Contributors should request and retain a written acknowledgment for any single contribution of $250 or more.
The organization currently identifies itself publicly as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 92-2185964. A gift is deductible only to the extent allowed by law. Unless an acknowledgment states otherwise, no goods or services are provided in exchange for an ordinary donation.
What does a sponsorship include?
A sponsorship includes only the neutral acknowledgments listed on the Sponsor page. Recognition does not include price or savings claims, comparisons, promotional calls to action, endorsement, exclusive provider rights, tickets, hospitality, speaking time, guaranteed media coverage, or access to attendee, recipient, donor, or volunteer data.
Sponsorship is subject to acceptance and artwork deadlines. If Bridge Niagara declines a sponsor, the payment will be returned to its original payment method.
May a donation or sponsorship be refunded?
Donations are voluntary and generally final. For a duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized payment, contact Bridge Niagara within 30 days and provide the donor name, date, amount, and transaction or receipt number. Never send a complete card number by email.
Bridge Niagara will review the request. An approved refund returns to the original payment method, may take additional bank-processing time, and may require a corrected receipt.
Sponsorship payments are generally nonrefundable after promised acknowledgment has been printed, posted, or delivered. If Bridge Niagara cannot provide a material promised acknowledgment, it may offer a reasonable substitute or refund the undelivered portion.
What if the event changes or is canceled?
Bridge Niagara may apply campaign support to a rescheduled event or closely related charitable program and may provide equivalent sponsor recognition. A sponsor may contact Bridge Niagara about an undelivered material acknowledgment. No public refund or substitute is guaranteed until the circumstances and payment record are reviewed.
How are in-kind contributions handled?
Food, supplies, and services must be approved in writing before purchase, shipment, or delivery. Accepted items generally cannot be returned after use or distribution. A receipt may describe contributed property but will not assign its tax value.
